Lynne began riding with Kristin in the spring of 2011 while searching for a new eventing partner. With Kristin’s endorsement, she purchased a beautiful warm blood mare named Mimi. Crazy about horses since she was 12 years old, Lynne has been eventing for over 10 years. She spent the last 3 years at the training level with her recently retired preliminary horse, Zest. She is excited to continue her pursuit to the next level with Mimi.

Lynne loves the positive energy, constant activity, training and friendships she has at Everbreeze Farm….and, of course, the wonderful 180 acre Christie Hoffman Park across the street!

Carrie Callahan
New to the horse world, Carrie began riding in 2002 when she moved to the United States and found two very lovable and very anxious to please off-the-track thoroughbreds to begin her riding “career”. Carrie and her boys began working with Kristin in the fall of 2008 and have come a long way in a short period time. In 2009, Carrie and Out ‘N About aka “Cooper” (pictured above left) competed in their first Beginner Novice events, placing second at both the Plantation and Fair Hill Horse Trials. While Cooper enjoys jumping, Carrie has hopes of competing Flynn (pictured above right) in the dressage arena.

Both Carrie and her two “boys” feel like one of the family at Everbreeze, and love the training, care and personal attention they receive with Kristin and look forward to a long and successful relationship.

I have been training with Kristin for 4 years and have two horses that are completely different. One is hot blooded and temperamental, while the other is a puppy dog who just wants to please. Kristin has taken the time to develop a relationship with each of them and, recognizing that each has different needs, has created customized training programs that have brought out the best in both of them. My horses are now happy and confident and each time I ride them or watch Kristin ride them, I smile! I cannot thank her enough!!!” –Carrie Callahan

Ashely Donayre

Ashley has been actively training and riding with Kristin since 2003. A long-time eventer with her partner Oliver Twist, Ashley was able to take her Preliminary riding in a new direction under Kristin’s tutelage. With Kristin’s coaching and guidance, Ashley successfully completed her first 1-star event on her dressage score at Morven Park in 2004. Together that year, Ashley and Oliver Twist won the Area II Regional Championship for the Preliminary Division and were ranked 7th in the USEA Adult Amateur Preliminary Division.

With the help of Kristin, Ashley purchased her new prospect, The Artful Dodger. A neophyte to the eventing world, Ashley trained and competed him under Kristin’s direction up through the Training Levels. Ashley’s toddler daughter is now enjoying pony lessons at Everbreeze Farm.

Beth Durden

Beth started riding with Kristin in 2010. According to Beth, Kristin gave her the confidence she could not find with other trainers, enabling her to excel and WIN her very first horse trial after training with Kristin for only a short time. Beth credits Kristin with not only being a great teacher for horses when she is on their backs, but a great teacher for her students with the ability to clearly explain how to produce correct results in an understandable way.

Kristin helped Beth get the horse lease of a lifetime with Stephen Bradley’s famous Olympic mount, From. After a year and a half of eventing From at the Training Level—where Beth garnered many 1st and 2nd placings at shows up and down the east coast—Kristin and Beth traveled to Ireland in pursuit of her own horse. In the summer of 2011, Beth brought home a young Irish Sport Horse gelding sired from Ricardo Z—the same sire of Kristin’s 2011 Alternate Pan-American mount Ballylaffin Bracken. Beth is extremely excited about her new upper-level hopeful, a 4-year old gelding named Ricardo Whistle and Pop. She considers Kristin to be an extremely considerate rider and trainer that only wants to see her students excel, learn, and most importantly have fun. As such, Beth has no doubt that Kristin will help her reach her 2* goal with her new partner in the near future.

Carol Hill

Carol has been training with Kristin since 2005. She was introduced to eventing through Kristin’s student Ashley and was lucky enough to partner with Ashley’s seasoned event horse Oliver Twist. Carol and Ollie came a long way through Kristin’s tutelage and earned a 5th place in Beginner Novice at their second ever event at Buck’s County Horse Trials.

Carol now rides her own off-the-track thoroughbred mare, Screen Mistriss (aka Ria) pictured above right. All the jumping lessons with Kristin have paid off as the pair won their first outing at the Quiet Creek Hunter Pace-Novice Division in the fall of 2009. Carol is also Kristin’s web designer.

I have trained with Kristin for 6 years. She has brought my riding and confidence (especially jumping) up tremendously and taught me so much about horse care. She is a consummate professional whether competing, training, or caring for your horses. You can’t help but become a better horseman if you are lucky enough to spend time with Kristin, it’s a simple fact!”- Carol Ann Hill

Elisabeth Parent

Elisabeth has been eventing since 2001, and successfully rode up to the Training level with her long time companion Montana’s Glory under Kristin’s guidance. Elisabeth has had the great opportunity to ride Kristin’s second advanced horse Surprise Party. They successfully competed at Waredaca Training 3 Day, finishing 6th. She has also competed at Bucks County Horse Trials at Prelim/Training level with Surprise Party where they earned a 5th place.

As a graduate of Centenary College, Elisabeth has had the opportunity to compete on the college’s intercollegiate teams. In the 2006–2007 year she was the regions reserve champion rider for the Intercollegiate Dressage Team (IDA) at First Level. She also competed on the IHSA team at the intermediate level. With the help of Kristin, she has further developed her skills as a riding instructor.

Ellen Quinn

Ellen has been riding since she was a little girl and has channeled her passion for horses into a business called Equine Organix. Equine Organix offers organic, sulfate-free grooming products that are pH-balanced specifically for horses. (The Chamomile & Olive Oil Shampoo is a favorite at the barn)!

Ellen began training with Kristin in 2009. During this time, she started eventing with her equine partner Kiefer. As a lower-level eventer, Ellen has benefited greatly from Kristin’s coaching – becoming a more secure jumper and gaining confidence in all aspects of her riding. Outside of eventing, Ellen loves riding Kiefer year-round and frequently takes him out on trails, hunter paces and for long swims.

Joanne Thierry Joanne and Eloise

Joanne was given a great opportunity to lease a horse named Eloise through her friend, Alicia Brownell-Hitpas.  Although Eloise was a seasoned event horse who had successfully competed through training level, Joanne was terrified of jumping.

Joanne came to Kristin in June of 2011 on the advice of a friend. According to Joanne, “it was the best decision I have ever made.” She was surprised to find Kristin so willing to work with a starter level rider jumping cross rails. In a few short months, Kristin transformed Joanne’s riding by giving her the tools to effectively control her horse, giving her greater confidence. As a result, Eloise and Joanne have become great partners. This past fall they competed at the Bucks County Horse Park and won the elementary division ending on their personal best dressage score. Next season they plan to compete at the beginner novice level.

Eloise loves living at Everbreeze Farm. According to Joanne, “it has it all: the best training, great care with plenty of turnout, a huge indoor, and Christie Hoffman Park right across the street. Who could want anything more?”

Karen Taylor and ChieftainKaren Taylor has been actively riding for over 12 years. She purchased her first horse, Chieftain, in 2005 and boards him at her home in Tewksbury. The pair is a blast to ride with and together they enjoy almost every equine activity imaginable including fox hunting, dressage, swimming, trail riding, hunter paces and eventing. (She has yet to put him in front of a buggy)!

Karen started taking lessons with Kristin to help her gain control of her mighty fast Chieftain when going cross-country and to help her improve her dressage (although Chieftain is very obedient) Karen was having trouble keeping him on the bit while generating impulsion. According to Karen, Kristin is helping the pair acheive balance in all phases of their riding allowing Karen to soften the aids so Chieftain can listen, wait and use himself better.

Erica Webb

After competing on the Intercollegiate circuit, Erica groomed for and travelled with Kristin throughout 2006 and 2007. Under Kristin’s tutelage, Erica started her first eventing season with one of Kristin’s clients horses; a seasoned veteran, as her partner, Oliver Twist. Erica and Oliver competed at training level throughout 2006 and culminated their season with a successful go at the Waredaca Training 3-Day. Erica and Oliver Twist were 4th at the spring Plantation Horse Trials, 5th at Seneca Valley Horse Trials and 3rd at Apple Knoll Horse Trials.

Erica also had the opportunity to ride Kristin’s first advanced horse, Rusheen Warrior. Together they were 3rd at Bucks County Horse Park Horse Trials in the novice division with the dressage award, 1st at Plantation Horse Trials, and reserve champion at the ESDCTA New Jersey Horse Trials Area Two Training Championships.

Kevin Whitney

Kevin was competing in Amateur-Owner Jumpers when she met Kristin. Kristin rekindled Kevin’s interest in eventing, and she now owns two great horses that Kristin found in Ireland. Delgany Flight (Duffy) is Kevin’s very special pal who piloted her to the top of the Master Training Rider Leader Board in 2006.
