Lumiere Royale “Ray”

Lumiere Royale is a 16.1 hand Irish Sport Horse geld­ing born in May of 2006 in County Kilkenny, Ire­land. He was found by Kedrah House Stud and Imported by Kristin in July 2009. Lumiere Royale is Irish-bred by one of the world’s most suc­cess­ful stal­lions in inter­na­tional show jump­ing Lux Z and out of an Irish Cav­a­lier Royale mare Cav­a­lier Lolla. Lux Z par­tic­i­pated in the 2000 Syd­ney Olympics and World games and has won Pul­sar Crown com­pe­ti­tions in both Valkenswaard and Cannes.

A chip off his father’s block, Lumiere Royale arrived at the US and, within a few months, won the 3-year old USEA Future Event Horse Class at Fair Hill Inter­na­tional. He suc­cess­fully started event­ing at the novice level in 2011 and has enjoyed a string of first and sec­ond plac­ings. Lumiere Royale placed 2nd in the 5-year old USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championship.
