2011 USEF Event­ing Devel­op­ing Rider A List

Cav­aldi is a 16.1 hand reg­is­tered Irish Sport Horse geld­ing born in 1995. He is Irish-bred by the world renowned Hol­steiner stal­lion Cav­a­lier Royale and out of the TB mare Catell who is by Cataldi. Bred to event at the high­est lev­els of the sport, Cav­aldi is a true world ath­lete hav­ing suc­cess­fully com­peted at inter­na­tional com­pe­ti­tions in the United States, Canada and England.

Cav­aldi was imported by Kristin in 2002 and she has been actively com­pet­ing him at the CCI**** level since 2005. Shortly after his arrival in the US, he won the Markham Tro­phy at the Fox­hall Spring Cham­pi­onship. Kristin has com­mented that Cav­aldi feels like he is “just skip­ping around the 4 star level” when she rides him cross-country. Cav­aldi was listed on the 2011 USEF Event­ing Devel­op­ing Rider A List.
